The European Commission has launched a new public consultation:
Subject – Strategic Transport Technology Plan
Consultation period: 29/03/2011 – 28/05/2011
Objectives – The European Commission, under the Europe 2020 strategy flagship initiative “Resource efficient Europe”, will present proposals for modernizing the transport sector. The proposals will include, among other initiatives, promoting independence from oil and modern transport infrastructure.
As the Commission intends to issue a Strategic Transport Technology Plan (STTP), where it will present the technology areas where it pays for those involved in transport to work together. The Commission invites you to contribute to the preparation of the STTP by responding to this questionnaire.
