Strategic Transport Technology Plan Stakeholders Conference

The European Commission is inviting stakeholders to attend a conference on the Strategic Transport Technology Plan 5STTP in Brussels on 24 May. They will be asked to comment on the input and information that has already been collected. The discussions from the conference will be used to further develop the Strategic Transport Technology Plan, in a consultation process that includes the initial stakeholder hearings held in February and March 2011 as well as the internet consultation currently taking place.
Topics to be discussed
The conference agenda will include the following topics:
- Consultation results
- Technology state-of-the-art and prospects
- Transport research and innovation capacities in Europe
- Research and innovation topics and initial roadmaps
- Registration is mandatory. The deadline for registration is 18 May 2011.
