Dear Steve,
Many thanks for your letter of 12 April responding to my letter of 28 February. I very much welcome your recognition of the concerns of the UK transport sector and your commitment to a smooth transition to the best possible deal for the UK.
However, you did not reply to my specific request, namely that the Government should publish a future partnership or position paper on transport. Do you have any plans to publish such a paper, and if so by when?
We believe this will greatly enhance the UK’s ability to secure the best possible deal for UK transport, and the smooth transition that you hope for.
