The approval of the recommendations for three files making up the technical pillar of the fourth rail package confirms the Committee’s endorsement of the agreement reached with Council last year. This technical pillar is intended to reduce costs for rail operators and manufacturers, increase transparency and contribute to the creation of a single European rail area.
