The Council of the European Union today adopted the list of Commissioners-designate amended by President-elect Jean-Claude Juncker yesterday to include the name of the new Slovenian candidate, Violeta Bulc. President-elect Juncker is therefore now able to announce that he intends to attribute the Transport portfolio to Violeta Bulc, Slovenian candidate for Commissioner. Consequently, Maroš Šefčovič, Slovak Commissioner-designate, will be allocated the portfolio of Vice-President for Energy Union.
